Going Green and Dancing Baby

Today I was feeling rather "green" while I was outside hanging Clara's cloth diapers on our new retractable clothesline that Brian recently installed. There are many "green" points in this...cloth diapers, air drying, and the natural bleaching effects of sunlight. For awhile I was doing this with Clara in her cloth baby carrier on my back since she didn't want to play by herself yet after her nap. That was a bit of a workout...squats with an approximately 20 lb. baby on my back. After awhile Clara decided it would be more fun to play in the grass. Then I was going to take a picture of the laundry on the line, but the neighbor came outside to visit.

A couple of days ago Brian took a video of Clara while she was playing with her latest favorite toy, a Leap Frog music table. It has all kinds of buttons to push and plays songs, sings the ABCs and some numbers. Our friends Cody and Marteen gave it to us and I had it stored away until Clara's cousin Colton came to visit a couple of weeks ago. It was a big hit for both of them, although they weren't very successful in playing with it at the same time. In that close of proximity, Clara was in the exploring range of Colton. She was not particularly fond of his type of exploring. Anyways, I digress...these days anytime there is music playing, Clara is clapping along or "dancing" to the beat. It's pretty cute. See for yourself in the video.
