A Look Back

Nora's 2nd birthday is this coming Monday. She is so excited...she tells me, "My birthday is coming up!" We're going to have a birthday party for her and it's been since Clara's 2nd birthday since we've had any official birthday parties. I'll be sure to post about Nora's birthday, but since I haven't ever posted about Clara's 2nd birthday I thought I would do that first.

Clara's birthday is in July and her second birthday was just a couple of weeks after we had moved to Lincoln. So, everybody that she knew and was important to her were in the Quad Cities. Brian was still there finishing the remodeling of the house, so we had her party there. I ended up forgetting to take a few important things for a party like something to mix the cake in and something to serve food on, as well as the camera. So, the pictures from the birthday party were taken by some friends, the Foerderers. It was a fun time...everybody brought some chairs and some food for a potluck supper. Clara had fun with her friends big and small.

Clara was completely fascinated with Carter's carseat. She spent a lot of time in it. =) Ms. Len came to her, though.
