It's been so long since I've posted that I need to back up in time. In my last post I told you about my two possible jobs. It turns out that the job in Colorado was not offered to anyone and so it was a good thing that I had already decided to take the job in Lincoln. So, we are in the process of finding an apartment to move to Lincoln July 1. The date is coming up rather quickly and there is so much to be done, not to mention celebrating Brian's graduation June 19!!!
Brian has been making marvelous progress on the kitchen. There are so many things to tweak along the way. Today, with the help of a friend, he built a platform so some wall cabinets could become base cabinets. The dishwasher is all installed and we have the countertops and sink. It is looking so beautiful that I am more than a little sad that I won't get to enjoy the beauty for long. Actually, I'm more sad about leaving so many friends behind. I'll post some pictures soon.
In other news, we had some visitors last week. Ceri and David stopped by for a day on their road trip. And, Ellen and Stephen came up from Urbana-Champaign for lunch and the afternoon. It was wonderful to see "old" friends again. Clara had a great time being entertained nonstop. We thought she would be sad when everyone left, but she just said that she would see everybody again.
