The House With Potential
When we purchased our house last summer, this is what it looked like. We were attracted to its character and charm, as well as the neighborhood. After almost a year, many changes have occured and there is still so much more to be done. It was and is what we like to call "full of potential."
Last fall, Brian and friends removed the cedar shakes from the house unearthing the original clapboard siding on the first level and roofing shingles for siding on the second level. The idea is that we will put vinyl siding that looks like the original clapboards on the house, but first we need to replace the windows (the drafts last winter were a little much). The limits to getting these two tasks completed are the usual...lack of money and time. Maybe in the next couple of years we'll get all of the projects completed...
